Kiel (dpa / lno) – At the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel (CAU) there should continue to be face-to-face events despite the increasing number of corona infections in the country. A spokeswoman for the university announced on Thursday that the presidium and faculties continued to keep teaching in attendance.
In view of the current infection situation, however, the faculties could decide to temporarily offer individual courses online. The size of the courses is a criterion for this, but above all the content conveyed. For example, laboratory internships or practical sports courses cannot be replaced by online formats.
According to a spokeswoman, the 3G rule also applies to all courses at the University of Lübeck. This has just been tightened again in coordination with the country. The period of validity of antigen tests has been shortened from 48 to 24 hours. In addition, everyone must wear a medical mouth guard. “From December 20 to 23, teaching will take place digitally in order to reduce contacts before the Christmas holidays,” said the spokeswoman.
