While stem cell therapy for hydrocephalus is still considered experimental, early research suggests promising results in improving motor function and cognitive abilities. However, this specialized care comes at a significant cost, estimated at €33,000, excluding travel and accommodation expenses for Carlos and his family.

Rocío Herrera, Carlos’s mother, has been a driving force behind the fundraising efforts, tirelessly seeking support from institutions, businesses, and individuals.
