The League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) has agreed a partnership deal with men’s health charity Movember.

Movember has become the official mental health partner of the league for the 2026 and 2027 seasons. The collaboration will see the organisation work to support the mental wellbeing of players, staff, and the wider esports community.

Specific initiatives planned for the upcoming year include mental health awareness and response training for staff. Furthermore, player-only roundtables will be organised to help competitors navigate stress and reduce the likelihood of unhealthy coping mechanisms.

The partnership aims to integrate frameworks and interventions into the competitive structure to strengthen support across the league. Movember will also be featured on broadcasts and live events to help normalise conversations around mental health and reduce stigma.

Maximilian Peter Schmidt, Director of League of Legends Esports, EMEA, said, “Partnering with Movember allows us to take our commitment to supporting the mental health of our players and teams to the next level. We want our community to feel empowered to speak openly about the challenges they face and know resources are available if needed. Gaming should be a safe and healthy space for everyone, and this partnership will help us ensure that the environment is maintained and strengthened.”

Dan Cooper, Global Director, Innovations, Movember, said, “Movember is committed to bring community first solutions to today’s most urgent mental health challenges. Esports is a focus area for our work in mental health, and by working with Riot Games we aim to have a real impact and drive positive change in esports.”

Formula E has become the world’s first sport to receive B Corp Certification.

The electric racing series announced the achievement at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland. This certification recognises the championship’s adherence to social and environmental standards, highlighting its community impact programmes and worker wellbeing strategies.

Jeff Dodds, CEO of Formula E, said, “Whether it’s pioneering sustainable aviation fuel or engineering a 100% recyclable race car, we are here to show the world that progress isn’t just necessary, it’s visceral. This isn’t a milestone to celebrate standing still; it’s a licence to go even faster.”

The announcement follows the global launch of the GEN4 race car, which features 100% recyclable construction and is designed to reach speeds of 200mph. The car is set to debut next season. Currently in its 12th season, the championship has organised its largest calendar to date, featuring 17 races across 11 locations. The schedule groups races by continent to reduce freight mileage and CO2 emissions.

Julia Pallé, VP Sustainability at Formula E, commented: “Becoming B Corp certified is a powerful recognition that electric racing can do more than inspire, it can drive real, measurable change. Formula E has always focused on impact – not just pledges supporting charities or carbon reduction – investing in renewable energy and working directly with local communities in every city we race.”

Golf technology company PLATFORM Golf has announced a new integration partnership with launch monitor specialist Trackman.

The announcement was made during the PGA Show.

PLATFORM Golf creates products that bring real-world slope, lie, and putting conditions into the simulator experience. Through this agreement, Trackman simulators can now be upgraded to include PLATFORM Golf’s SSG (Singularity for Simulated Golf) software.

This integration utilises dynamic TrueSlope technology, which mimics real-world lies for full-swing shots and replicates sloping greens. The partnership aims to create a new standard in off-course golf by combining the two systems to create a picture of golfer performance.

Thomas Hackett, Co-Founder and CEO of PLATFORM Golf, said, “The future of off-course golf is now. Our integration with Trackman represents a defining moment for the indoor golf industry as we are resetting the simulation golf category altogether by creating a completely new measure of standardisation for indoor golf.
