Authorities in The Hague are investigating after a clandestine drug lab was discovered in a garage box located on Spoorlaan this past Sunday. The discovery, made around 13:15, prompted a swift response from local police and fire services due to the presence of numerous hazardous chemicals.

Emergency Response and Dismantling Operation

Upon discovering the lab, first responders identified various chemicals stored in jerry cans and buckets, prompting immediate safety protocols. A specialized Perilous Substances Consultant from the fire brigade was called to the scene to assess the risks and advise on the proper handling of the materials.

The dismantling of the drug lab was undertaken by Seon, a company specializing in the safe removal of such facilities, with assistance from the LFO, the national dismantling facility.The operation lasted several hours, concluding around 7:30 PM.
