In a thrilling turn of events, Fairfax County police have located and arrested two drivers implicated in a viral drag race incident that took place on Leesburg Pike near the Westwood Center Drive in Tysons, Virginia.
The Viral Video That Sparked the Investigation
The now-famous video surfaced on various online platforms, capturing the exhilarating yet dangerous spectacle of a Tesla Cybertruck and a Lamborghini engaged in a high-speed drag race—all on the public roadways of Leesburg Pike. The footage quickly went viral and came to the attention of Fairfax County police on October 29.
Identifying the Drivers
Following an exhaustive investigation, police were able to swiftly identify the participants involved. Christian Camacho, a 48-year-old resident of Vienna, was determined to be the driver of the Tesla Cybertruck. Meanwhile, Carlos Montero, a 37-year-old resident of Sterling, was revealed as the driver of the Lamborghini.
Charges and Arrests
Authorities wasted no time apprehending the offenders. On November 1, Camacho voluntarily turned himself in to face charges of Racing and Stopping on the Highway. Subsequently, on Friday, Montero was arrested and charged with similar offenses, including two counts of Improper Lane Change. Following the arrests, both men were initially released on unsecured bond.
