The Passing of Dolores Mulroy
The community of Bohola holds dear the memory of Dolores Mulroy, née Kelly, who passed away peacefully on February 10, 2025, at the Mayo Hospice. Dolores lived an illustrious life in Laughtadurkan, Bohola, before moving to Toughnane, Bohola. She was surrounded by her loving family during her final days, a testament to the deep bonds she cherished.
A Family Legacy
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas, as well as her brothers, James and John, and her sister, Angela. Dolores’ life was a tapestry woven with threads of love and loyalty to her family. Her children, Eddie, Dolores, Brendan, Carmel, and Angela, along with her beloved grandchildren Kate, John, Thomas, Niall, Shane, Emma, Ciarán, Niamh, Aoife, Darragh, Alex, Ben, Gavin, Hannah, and Dylan, were her greatest joy.
Dolores is also greatly missed by her sisters Joan, Margaret, Mary, and Bernie; her daughters-in-law Louise and Trish; her sons-in-law Martin, John, and Daragh; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, neighbors, and friends who loved her deeply.
Memorial Services
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Mayo Hospice, where Dolores received her final care. The hospice provided wonderful support as she transitioned peacefully. Donations can be made here.
The family has arranged a viewing at the Sheridan Memorial Community Centre in Bohola from 5 PM to 7 PM on Saturday, February 10, 2025. A Requiem Mass will follow on Sunday at 1:30 PM at the Church of the Immaculate Conception and St. Joseph, Bohola. After the mass, she will be laid to rest in Meelick Cemetery.
The funeral mass will be live-streamed on ChurchTV Bohola for those unable to attend in person.
The family requests that the house remain private during this time.
