These courses range from basic training for swimming assistants to comprehensive lifeguard certification programs. The organization currently boasts nine dedicated coaches and plans to introduce further courses throughout 2025, reinforcing its dedication to developing skilled and qualified water safety professionals. According to the DLRG National Statistics, the demand for certified lifeguards has increased by 15% in the last year, making these training programs even more crucial.
Competition Success and community Engagement
The DLRG’s commitment to excellence extends beyond training, with its competition team achieving notable results at the district championships in waldshut-Tiengen. Furthermore, the organization actively engages with the local community, participating in initiatives such as the nationwide 72-hour action alongside Wehrer altar servers. This collaborative project, supported by the family center and numerous donors, exemplifies the DLRG’s dedication to serving the community and fostering partnerships.
