Diego Fernández: Cuban Prospect Eyes MLB Opportunity

The Cuban baseball player Diego Fernandez18 years old, left Cuba in the last few hours with theaim to start the process of signing up with an organization from the Grandes Ligas (MLB)as confirmed by journalist Francys Romero on her social media.

Fernández represented Havana at the 2023 and 2024 National Under-18 Championships, where he was considered one of the youngsters with the greatest potential within his category.

Recently, the right has also was part of the pre-selection of the Industriales teama sign of the trust that existed in his development within the structure of Cuban baseball.

Following his departure from the island, the player will train at the Cacón Academy, located in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, a leading training center for international prospects seeking opportunities in professional baseball.
