A tremendous sound, unique live performances and more than 20 years of band experience. Post-Metal giants Cult Of Luna are a distinctive band. After performing on German stages together with Russian Circles in March, they will return to Hamburg in autumn.
The band name “Cult Of Luna” is derived from a cult in ancient Greece that worshiped the moon and is intended to represent the overflowing emotional mood of their music. The rough, hard and epic side of their music is not neglected. The Swedish band is willing to experiment and is characterized by an intense atmosphere. Their two drummers skilfully underline this atmosphere. Again and again the genre boundaries blur and electronic sounds can be found in their unmistakable music.
Her last album “Vertical I & II” was only released in January 2023. An album to immerse yourself in and find yourself in a dark yet harmonious world. The changing atmosphere between dynamics and monotonous melodies hardly allows not to completely fall for the music concept.
