Because of positive tests for Covid-19, the health authority of the city of Salzburg launched two public calls on Tuesday: It’s about Eurospar in Forum 1 at Südtiroler Platz and about bus line 120 (Salzburg-Obertrum).
This appeal is addressed to people who are on Wednesday, September 9th (7.15 am-12.30pm) or Thursday, September 10th (7.15-11 am) or on Friday, September 11th (7.15 am-12.30pm) in Eurospar im Forum 1 at Südtiroler Platz.
Those affected should carefully monitor their state of health and should contact the health hotline 1450 immediately if common symptoms occur (e.g. shortness of breath, fever, cough, loss of taste / smell, sore throat).
This call is also aimed at people who drove from the main station to the Lindenhofsiedlung (Obertrum a. See) on Monday, September 14 at 7:20 a.m. and on the same day at 3:15 p.m. from the Lindenhofsiedlung in Obertrum to the train station in Salzburg.
There had already been a similar appeal on Monday evening. It is about the Sport-OASE-Salzburg Bowling (Münchner Bundesstrasse 114) in the Liefering district. The health authority calls on all people who were there last Friday (September 11th) between 10 p.m. and 11.30 p.m. to monitor their state of health closely.
Covid-Fall in Seniorenwohnheim
Meanwhile, it became known that a caregiver who works at the Taxham retirement home had tested positive for Covid-19. After the sudden appearance of a fever last Friday evening, a test was made on Saturday, and the result is now available. Last week, the employee was on duty until 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
Now all precautionary measures are set in motion: All employees and the residents with whom the employee has been in contact are tested. Until the test results are available, the staff only works with appropriate protective equipment. Likewise, no external services (hairdresser, etc.) can be used for the time being. All events will be suspended and meals will no longer be eaten together. No visits can be made until then.
144 people are currently infected with SARS-CoV-2 in the state of Salzburg – the same number as on Sunday. Four new infections were added and four patients have since recovered.
