REUTLINGEN. This weekend, music lovers in Reutlingen and the region can get their money’s worth at various live performances. The pop, rock and jazz concerts offer a wide repertoire for different tastes. An overview of which artists or bands perform in which locations.
Reutlingen
Ernst Bloch Choir. In its new program, the Tübingen choir approaches the topic of climate change from a variety of perspectives. Multi-voiced and multilingual, with traditional songs and newly composed works, familiar and new, the people of Tübingen come to the franz.K on Friday, November 28th, 8 p.m.
Oskar Rimmel Trio. The young formation around the pianist Oskar Rimmele stands for jazz that is both rooted in history and surprises with fresh sound ideas. On Friday, November 28th, 8:30 p.m., the trio will play as part of the “Highschool Jazz” series in the Jazzclub im Mitte.
Rainer from many. Zen metal meets devil pop, accordion and electronics merge with driving guitars and anthemic vocals. On Saturday, November 29th, 8 p.m., the Allgäu all-round musician will present his new album “Bergen” with a quartet at the franz.K.
Film Music Live. Film music from Pirates of the Caribbean, James Bond, Superman, Mission Impossible, Jurassic Park, Star Wars and other evergreens and favorite melodies: This is what the Leipzig Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra is offering on Saturday, November 29th, 8 p.m., in the Stadthalle.
Jazz combo from the Dietrich-Bonhoeffer-Gymnasium Metzingen. In the multi-member formation’s program, classic jazz standards meet French chansons, complemented by rock, soul and party hits from the 1960s to the present. On Saturday, November 29th, 8 p.m., in the jazz club in the middle.
P-Town. The six-member cover rock formation roams musical realms of classics and modern hits and follows in the footsteps of songs that everyone knows and sings along loudly. The sextet comes to the Irish Pub on Saturday, November 29th, 8 p.m., with free admission.
Shokee & Sands. The five musicians present a dream concert in which they bring their own favorite songs, but above all the audience’s favorite songs, to the stage spontaneously, improvised and with a lot of passion. On Sunday, November 30th, at 12:30 p.m., the quintet will come to the Pappelgarten.
Tübingen
John Coffey. The Dutch post-hardcore band, named after the prisoner from Stephen King’s “The Green Mile”, is back after a seven-year break. On Friday, November 28th, 8 p.m., the five musicians will rock the brewhouse with their energetic show.

Gast. Tim and Linus, originally from Tübingen, push the boundaries of modern wave and raw aesthetics and have earned a constantly growing fan base in the indie and NDW scenes. On Sunday, November 30th, 7:30 p.m., the duo will play at Club Voltaire. Support is the Viennese Panik Deluxe.
Glems
Zed Mitchell Band. The 74-year-old guitarist and singer has been enjoying international success for years and impresses with his extraordinary five-octave voice. On Friday, November 28th, 8:30 p.m., the Serbian blues rocker and his band will be guests at the Hirsch cultural pub.
No Education. Pink Floyd sent the world on a hallucinatory trip at the end of the 1960s with their complex songs. The cover band’s performance on Saturday, November 29th, 8:30 p.m., at the Hirsch also promises to be a magical journey into the past.
Meidelstetten
Saidon Train. With this eight-member combo, opinions differ as to how far reggae can be stretched and bent. It features a broad sound of traditional reggae, hard drum rhythms and melodic guitar beats. On Saturday, November 29th, 8:30 p.m., in the Adler.
Rottenburg
Lightning Crashes. When Lenny Kravitz takes off with Major Tom completely detached, Slash accompanies Lady Gaga on lead guitar and Prince Fury visits the Slaughterhouse, then the four musicians set off their rock fireworks.
