Good morning ! We are the Friday, September 23, 2022 : here is what awaits you for this day at Mans (Sarthe).

You played 3×3 et du street-art

Still full of entertainment for this new day of the Forever Young festival! The public will be able to attend a great show of basketball 3 on 3, which is a new Olympic discipline. The meeting is given on the Esplanade des Quinconces from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

In the Quinconces car park, the street-artists Alice Hervé and Smoka will be at work creating frescoes between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.

The show must go on ! The company Ö Captain my captain pays homage to Freddie Mercury, singer of the mythical group Queen in a show scheduled in the square of Cardinal Grente at 8:30 p.m.

An entertainment festival is also offered at the Tesse Park between 6 p.m. and midnight: concerts, escape game (registration on [email protected]), board games and wooden games, introduction to medieval fight, shows, humorous guided tours…

A demonstration to rehouse families on the street

At the call of many associations, a gathering is organized at 5:30 p.m. in front of the prefecture to demand the relocation of families who found themselves on the street after the elimination of places in emergency accommodation.

Together, let’s demand that people on the street be immediately rehoused in satisfactory sanitary conditions that allow children to follow a normal schooling.

Associations and collectives calling for unity

A delegation will be received at the prefecture and will deliver a petition to the prefect Emmanuel Aubry.

Movies and comics

For its part, the Bubble bookstore welcome Pierre Christin (screenwriter) and Virginia Augustine (designer) for the release of the last comic strip Valerian: Where stories are born. Cartoonist Jean-Michel Arroyo with whom Pierre Christin collaborated on Pigalle 1950 will also be present.

The cinema will not be outdone either with the start of the festival Mifac (International Film Market on Contemporary Artists) which begins this Friday and continues until Sunday.
