Holder of the Jazz CA, Jean-Christophe Cholet won the national jazz competition at La Défense in Paris (Soloist Prize, Composition Prize and Orchestra Prize). Pianist in various groups, he performs in France and abroad.

For this concert traditionally hosted by the patron saint of musicians, the Société Musicale de Tournefeuille invites two highly talented pianists for an unprecedented encounter.

In the first part, on pieces by Bach, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Debussy and Fauré, classical interpretations by Philippe Monferran give pride of place to jazz improvisations by Jean-Christophe Cholet.

A musical dialogue removed to transport the public in two singular universes.

In the second part, under the direction of Claude Puysségur, the Orchestra performs original works from the Harmonie repertoire.

Commissioned by the Société Musicale from composer Jean-Christophe Cholet, Brasil, a creation specially crafted for two pianists and Harmony Orchestra, brings this concert to a close.
