– Mylène Farmer cancels one of her two dates scheduled for 2023
The singer will only perform on one of the two evenings originally scheduled for June next year. Spectators will be able to be reimbursed and buy back tickets for the maintained concert.
Mylène Farmer, who was to perform at the Stade de Genève on Friday June 16 and Saturday June 17, 2023, is forced to cancel the first of the two dates, the Live Music Production team announced today in a press release. The singer will thus perform only on June 17 in Geneva, as part of her “Nevermore” tour.
The Covid restrictions lifted in April are the reason for this cancellation. “Mylène Farmer’s long-awaited concert in Geneva went on sale in the midst of a pandemic, with capacity restrictions which required us to only put 50% of the seats on sale and to spread the seats over two dates. In Switzerland, the restrictions have finally been lifted and we can once again produce concerts at full capacity.”
Quick redemption recommended
For spectators in possession of tickets for Friday 16, seats are refunded, and standing places remain valid for Saturday 17. Live Music Production strongly encourages spectators to “not wait” to redeem seats for Saturday, “as quickly as possible”.
People who do not wish to attend the Saturday concert can be reimbursed until September 30, 2022.
Live Music Production also clarified that “the artist’s production and Mylène Farmer are in no way responsible for this change” and that “only this change in gauge, following the Covid release, imposes this decision on us.”
The singer’s “Nevermore” tour “will take place in all the major stadiums in France, Switzerland and Belgium between June and July 2023”.
