Collins Aerospace has announced that the Venue Smart Monitor with integrated Airshow HD will enter service on a Dassault Falcon 7X in November. The Smart Monitor with Airshow HD is an all-in-one entertainment solution for business aviation, offering 4K resolution, flight information and streaming in-cabin entertainment. The Dassault Falcon Jet service center in Little Rock, Arkansas, will install two smart monitors with Airshow HD in the cabin wall.
The Venue Smart Monitor combines the Airshow HD cabin entertainment system into a single, compact unit, providing customers with an elegant entry point for in-flight entertainment (IFE). The system can be installed on both very light jets and wide-body aircraft and is designed to eliminate unnecessary hardware, reduce aircraft power consumption and simplify ongoing maintenance. The solution also includes the Airshow HD Mobile app that users can download on their mobile devices.
The application is designed with familiar symbols and intuitive operation, allowing passengers to access Airshow HD directly on their own device, anywhere in the cabin. The Venue Smart Monitor with Airshow HD is available in five sizes, with a choice of touchscreen and ultra-high definition options. Demonstrations of the system will be presented at RTX Booth #2245 at the 2025 National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Convention and Exhibition in Las Vegas.
