Tadorns after almost two years of absence “Classic with taste”, The acclaimed Chamber Music season in Goldonetta which was interrupted at the beginning of 2020 immediately after the start of the 11th edition, with the beginning of this complicated and (unfortunately) not yet completed health emergency. Six concerts are scheduled for the renewed 2022 program of the Goldoni Theater Foundation starting from January 18, again created with the artistic project of Carlo Palese in collaboration with Menicagli Pianoforti. The formula remained unchanged, with the usual initial “living room” to get to know and converse with the artists before the concert.
The inaugural concert, scheduled for Tuesday 18th January, at 9 pm it will be characterized by a truly exceptional program, as well as the artist who proposes it to us, the pianist Mariangela Vacatello, one of the most loved and currently most famous internationally: opening the Piano Sonata no. 1 in F minor op. 6 by Aleksandr Skrjabin, the Russian composer whose 150th anniversary will be celebrated in 2022. Feverish outbursts and sudden intimacy, delirium, dreams – explains Palese – populate the imaginary world of the young Skrjabin: to perform his first Sonata, a strong musical imagination and a technique of the highest level are required, qualities that the protagonist of the evening owns them all. In Skrjabin, Vacatello will accompany a masterpiece of musical Romanticism: the Sonata n.3 in B minor op.58 by Fryderyk Chopin, author of which Skrjabin himself collected the artistic and spiritual heritage ”. “After a concert, the listener has to bring something with them – said the pianist in a recent interview – I always hope that the audience perceives the love for music, the enthusiasm I have on stage, the meaning of each single passage that I play and the countless tests to make it that way “.
