Double concert on Sunday 7 August with the Chamber Music Meetings

The international clarinet ensemble will offer various arrangements, from Balkan folk to Bohemian Rhapsody, at 9 pm under La Loggia del Municipio

“From Naples to Prague” by Dvorak, Cecere and Giuliano at 6pm in the Monastery

Great expectations for the concert (with free admission) that the international clarinet ensemble composed of the students and teachers of the Musical Specialization Courses of Cividale del Friuli, directed by Maestro Luca Saracca, will propose Sunday evening at 9.00 pm at the Loggia del Municipio. The program includes music by various authors (including Carlos Gardel, Ennio Morricone, Claire Grundmann and WA Crosse) and the performance of arrangements for clarinet orchestra of pieces from the folk tradition of the Balkans, Kletzmer and Yiddish. The performance will end with the arrangement of the late Tod “Dr. K ”Kerstetter of Bohemian Rhapsodya famous piece by the historic group “Queen” and composed by Freddy Mercury.

The evening will be preceded at 6 pm, in the Monastery of Santa Maria in Valle, by the concert “From Naples to Prague” with Aylen Pritchin on violin, Arianna Ciommiento on viola, Sebastian Bertoncelj, cello, Zoran Markovic, double bass, Carlo Aonzo, mandolin.

The quintet op. 77 by Dvorak foresees the presence of the double bass accompaniment. The participation in this compositional form of the double bass is configured towards the end of the eighteenth century and it should be remembered that Mozart was already using it. Concerts for mandolin and arches by Carlo Cecere and Giuseppe Giuliano.

This concert is subject to a fee: 10 euros for full and 3.00 euros for reduced / students of the courses.
