Christmas concerts of the Stralsund Music School live and in the livestream

On the 2nd weekend in Advent, the music school of the Hanseatic city of Stralsund invites you to its Christmas concerts. The atmospheric concerts will take place on Friday, December 3rd, at 4.30 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. in the St. Jakobi Cultural Church.

Students of the music school can be experienced in large ensembles, in an orchestra, with chamber music and as soloists. The program includes the children’s choir, string orchestra, flute ensemble, guitars, cello ensemble, chamber music and young up-and-coming soloists. The organ of the Jakobikirche also sounds in the concerts. The music school’s orchestra concludes with works by Peter Tchaikovsky from the ballets “The Nutcracker” and “Swan Lake”. The audience is put in the mood for the Christmas season with a Christmas carol.

Due to the current Corona situation, the concerts will be held according to the 2G-plus regulation for recovered and vaccinated people with negative test evidence. For this purpose, the 2G proof and photo ID must be presented upon admission. Children under 7 years of age are exempt from this. Children aged 7 to 17 inclusive require a negative daily test.

Tickets at a price of 9 euros / 7 euros reduced can now be purchased at the music school’s office, Badenstrasse 39 (Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and Tuesday to Thursday 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.). Due to the smaller capacity, the music school offers a live stream. The livestream ticket can be purchased for 9 euros. The music school team will be happy to provide information about the various programs of the Christmas concerts when purchasing tickets. The large ensembles can be heard in all concerts.
