China presented at a military exhibition that took place on September 3 in Beijing, several new unmanned aircraft. There was also a new one among them stealth drone with a simple type of type B that attracted the attention of the world.
According to available information, Stealth Drone Type B is characterized by a wide range of advanced technical conveniences. According to the Army Reckognition portal, the drone should have diamond wings without a tail and with moving wings’ tips. In the nasal part of the drone there is an electrooptic sensor that resembles Western Eots systems. On both sides, stealth communication antennas are attached to the engines.
The aircraft is equipped with two forward -pointing supersonic inputs without a flow distributor (DSI), that power one two-lane motor-class WS-10C. The rear indicated a serrated nozzle with variable geometry, Similar to the F-35 one, the balance between aerodynamic performance, the reduction of the radar cross-section and the affordability.
These design solutions strongly point out to a potential supersonic ability as well as an extended rangewhich is allowed thanks to the simplified torso and the absence of any pilot -associated systems.
Used by China Type B in combat operations
Satellite shots from 2021 suggest that Stealth Drone Type B is already undergoing the first tests that take place at the Aircraft CorpoTon. This means that the drone may already be under development for several years. Drones exhibited during the exhibition were serial labeling starting with “53x3x”, this coincides with the Chinese Air Force Brigade, which is located in southwest China. There is also information that this drone is already deployed in military operations, although it is only speculation.

In addition to the stealth drone Type B, China also revealed a drone Type A. This drone is slightly smaller and is characterized by wings in the shape of a Greek letter Lambda. TYPE and model does not have an electrooptic sensor in the nasal part and has a thinner profile than the type of B drone. However, they share several conceptual features.
“Type and the drone seem to be designed for a different type of missions, probably those that are not so much focused on the direct fight in the air. However, both drones have been characterized by a really large degree of detail, including visible access panels.
The Stealth Drona Type B design agrees to the wider China strategy to develop stealth powerful combat drone. The country’s strategy is the opposite as the United States Strategy, which are currently focusing on cheaper support drones that they want to deploy along with piloted aircraft.
China is moving forward with the development of new technology
China used to introduce either prototypes during its exhibitions or purely mock -up, which only later reached fully developed systems. An example is the GJ-11 offensive drone, which made the first demonstration flights in the most basic configuration. It was only later that he introduced himself in more developed form. It is believed that Type B could follow a similar path. Experts assume that in the future the drone will have even better stealth properties and better maneuverability.

Anyway the performance stealth drone type type shows us that China continues its stealth drone program and is successful in accelerating the pace of development. The question remains whether Type B will continue to develop and whether it is interested in its own role or directly competing with the Type A model. However, with both drones, China clearly shows the interest in expanding its arsenal of unmanned air systems.
At the same time, China is expanding the abyss between the United States and the experts believes, that in the future there may be a change in the state of military forces. Thus, these forces will be distributed mimimally in the air domain where Chinese and American drones can meet each other.
