Montreal Canadiens forward Phillip Danault will play a game number 7 for the first of his hockey career. And to say the forward is feverish is an understatement.
For the number 24 of the CH, it never happened in the NHL. Never in the American League. Never in the junior. Never.
“I played in the summer AAA, final games. Not with the magnitude of tonight, laughed Danault, visibly in a good mood before the match, during the show. JIC on TVA Sports.
“You have to live it thoroughly. Move my feet and I’m going to have fun on the ice like I did the whole series. I look forward.”
And it looks like it’s not just Danault who is feeling all the excitement.
“Relaxed, but really feverish,” he continued, talking about his teammates. We are very excited to be able to play this match. We came back from behind 1-3, we have the momentum, we are confident, we know we can do it, we have a good team. We will trust each other on the ice and we will give everything (“lay it all on the line”).
“(We will) simply give everything. Block shots. Limit errors. Having fun is still a game, it will be memorable. ”
