Carucedo and Cabañas Raras host accordion concerts by the El Sámbano Association

The El Sámbano Musical Association of Accordionists promotes the celebration of acts around the accordion in collaboration with the city councils of
Cabañas Raras and Carucedo, with the support of a grant from the Diputación de León.

On Friday the 23rd, at 7:00 p.m., at the Carucedo Lake, an accordion concert will be held by Norberto Magín.

On Saturday, July 24, will be Cabañas Raras, the town where the following activities will take place: an Accordion Approach workshop for children and adults from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. respectively. At 8.30 pm, at the Casa de la Cultura, there will be the conference “El tiempo en un bellows”, by Raúl Álvarez Martín (Accordion Higher Degree, Graduate and Doctor in History of Art and History and Music Sciences) .

In it, there will be a review of the origin and evolution of the accordion since the first patent was deposited in 1829 until today, in addition to being able to enjoy several copies of historical free reed instruments from the private collection of Raúl Álvarez – María Concepción Hernández. Later in the town hall square, the concert by Norberto Magín.
