Verdone also regularly visits patients of all ages hospitalized in the highest intensity hospital wards bringing them “that human comfort and that proximity that are an integral part and binding duty of medical action” and does so far from the spotlight but for “personal feeling of compassion for suffering”.
“I observe people, I study their characters, fragility, tic and defects. I also started studying medicine privately in the evening, on the documents of the congresses that some of my doctors brought me back. Viva antidepressant without side effects, “said Verdone, as reported by the aging, on the sidelines of the ceremony. With the usual irony, the actor also told: “It is true, many friends call me instead of the general practitioner. But if they ask me complicated things I always say: ‘This is my hypothesis, ask your doctor if it agrees’. In general it has almost always agreed, but the family doctors hate me because I am more happy with them. Tell me ‘, while I eat and do medicine. To the question on which medicine would prescribe to our time, Verdone replied: “A medicine that cannot be given: common sense. Unfortunately the great heads of state, those who govern the world, often suffer from great mediocrity. It is a bad period. I do not trust the great powers much of those who command the great powers. In the 1960s there were very important political figures also at an international level; today they are not there. disaster “.
