Shareholders in Nissan have formally voted to dismiss Carlos Ghosn as director of the company during a sometimes stormy meeting in Tokyo on Monday.
He was fired as president of the Japanese car giant in November, a few days after his arrest for alleged financial misconduct regarding underreporting his reward – a violation in Japan.
