The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant reminded the readers of its VKontakte group of a unique version of the UAZ-31514 off-road vehicle ("goat"), founded in 1994 by the brothers Alexander and Mikhail Larin in the first private car factory in Russia. In addition, the pickup received an index of 31512 LLD, which was distinguished by a wheelbase stretched with 650 mm, as well as the original design of the exterior and interior.
Externally modified, the UAZ-31512 LLD was recognizable by the decorative linings on the bumpers and fiberglass body elements: wings, sills, grille and hardtop, which are the series model [выпущенной УАЗом] never was. Inside, cars from LLD-Auto were distinguished by a new dashboard (made of decorative plastic), the steering wheel of the GAZ-3102, more comfortable seats with headrests and seat belts and door locks locked from the inside.
It is strange that Larina did not touch the modular equipment. Under the hood there was a "native" 90-liter 2.5-liter gasoline engine, and a manual four-speed gearbox helped.
In the best years, LLD-Avto produced 40 such machines every month, but then the demand for them fell considerably, and the company closed in the second half of the 90s.
