Hanoi played host to teh inaugural match of the Ryan Championship’s innovative MMA ground fight format on April 12th, witnessing a compelling clash between seasoned competitors Ninheia, aged 43, and nguyen Van Lin, 35. Both fighters brought a wealth of experience in Jiu-Jitsu to the arena, setting the stage for a strategic and technically driven contest.

Dominance on the Ground: Ninheia’s Tactical Prowess

Ninheia established early dominance, demonstrating superior activity in the initial round. the 43-year-old veteran skillfully secured a lock, showcasing his grappling expertise. Despite his efforts, he was unable to successfully execute a submission hold to force a tap-out from his opponent.

Strategic Stand-Off: A cautious Second Round

The second round saw a shift in tactics, with both fighters displaying a more cautious approach. Eschewing immediate takedowns, thay engaged in a measured stand-up game, prompting a warning from the referee. Ninheia’s motivations for competing have evolved over time. Initially driven by weight loss, he became captivated by the art of Jiu-Jitsu through his instructors and training partners. Now,at 43,his goal is to introduce Jiu-Jitsu and MMA to a new generation,sharing his knowledge and passion for the sport.

The first and present martial arts training goals are very different. In the past, I gained a lot of weight, but the training goal was only weight loss. In the course of the training, I was fascinated by the martial arts movements of Master and colleagues. Now I want to inform this martial arts to a young generation who doesn’t know Jiu -Jitsu and MMA.
