Booker Triple-Double Leads Suns Past Clippers | NBA Scoreboard

by Archynetys News Desk

Mark Williams added 19 points for the Suns, who have won four of five games. Phoenix held a lead throughout the fourth quarter, and Booker’s three-point play with 2:59 left got the Suns out of trouble after Los Angeles had cut the deficit to five.

Booker fell short of his first regular-season triple-double during his 11-year, 683-game career, failing to record a 10th assist after returning to the game with 7:41 left.

The Suns’ star point guard achieved his only triple-double in the first game of the Western Conference finals in June 2021, also against the Clippers.

Ivica Zubac had 21 points and 15 rebounds, while John Collins scored 19 points for the Clippers, who suffered their fourth straight loss while playing with a reduced roster. James Harden had 13 points and 13 assists, but failed on eight of ten three-point attempts.

The Suns beat the Clippers 115-102 in Phoenix on Thursday. The rivals have already met three times this season, and Phoenix has won twice.
