- Content creator Bonnie Blue was arrested in Bali.
- There she filmed explicit content for commercial purposes.
- This resulted in a violation of her tourist visa.
- After her deportation, she jokes about being arrested.
Bonnie Blue is back in her homeland. The 26-year-old landed in London on Saturday after being deported from Indonesia. She takes her brief arrest in Bali with humor.
According to a statement obtained by Us Weekly, the content creator said: “I’m rich and I have good lawyers. Did you really believe that I would go to prison? From sharing bodily fluids with barely legal adults to watching my content with corrupt men – let’s put it this way, I’m happy to show you what caused me all these problems.”
The British woman only had to pay 20 dollars (the equivalent of 15 francs) to be released from custody. “If you want to see what led to me being deported, you can for less money,” she jokes.
Bonnie Blue faced 15 years in prison
Bonnie was arrested in her rental studio in Bali. The raid came after several complaints that she had rented a bus with several men to drive around the holiday island and film explicit material during “Schoolies Week,” a post-graduation celebration. According to police, the group included at least 17 male tourists aged 19 to 40 from the UK and Australia.
The 26-year-old was suspected of filming pornographic material, which is illegal in Indonesia. In the rental studio, authorities found “school Bonnie Blue” costumes, cameras, condoms, USB sticks, lubricant, pink necklaces and two sheets of Viagra pills. She faced 15 years in prison and a fine of 290,000 francs.
Do you think money and influence play a role in the legal system?
Violation of a tourist visa resulted in expulsion from the country
In the end, however, the police were unable to prove whether Bonnie had produced pornographic content in Bali or not. However, she violated her tourist visa because she used her “Bonnie Blue Bangbus” for commercial purposes. “During her stay in Bali, Bonnie Blue was supposed to travel, but instead she created content,” Badung police chief Arif Batubara said during a press conference on Thursday. She is now not allowed to enter Indonesia for ten years.
