the impetus behind this enterprising project stems from the pressing need to replace outdated operating rooms.some of the existing facilities date back to the hospital’s opening in the 1980s, rendering them inadequate for contemporary surgical procedures. The renovation will involve a complete overhaul, including demolition of existing structures and construction of state-of-the-art replacements.

Expansion and Renovation: A Multi-Phased Approach

The project encompasses both the renovation of existing operating rooms and the construction of new ones. The hospital is taking a phased approach, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing medical services. The thorough plan includes the complete renovation of three existing rooms, the creation of two entirely new operating rooms, and the modernization of four others. The project is expected to be completed by early 2028.

We really enter the operating room with all the rooms, so four rooms here, three rooms to renovate on the other side, and two new operating rooms that we are going to create. Here, we have an operating room that dates from the start of the hospital, the beginning of the 80s. The walls are from that time, we put tiles. All this will be fully demolished and redone.
