(CNN) Travis Barker will attend to a family matter before continuing his rock band Blink-182 tour.

The group announced in a verified Instagram story on Friday that “due to an urgent family matter,” their drummer Barker “had to return home to the United States.”

His shows in Glasgow, Scotland, Belfast, Northern Ireland and Dublin, Ireland “will be postponed,” the message read. The shows were part of Blink-182’s “World Tour 2023/2024,” which began in April and was scheduled to take place earlier this month.

The tour is currently scheduled to resume on September 8 in Antwerp, Belgium.

No additional information was provided on the nature of the family matter.

CNN has reached out to a representative for Barker and Blink-182 for comment.

Kourtney Kardashian announces her pregnancy at a Blink-182 concert

Barker is married to Kourtney Kardashian and the couple is currently expecting their first child together (Kardashian already has three children with her ex, Scott Disick).

Barker is also the father of two children and the stepfather of one, from a previous relationship.

In June, Kardashian announced her pregnancy in a video on Instagram while in the audience at a Blink-182 concert holding a sign that read: “Travis, I’m pregnant.”

Later that month, the couple revealed the gender of their baby in a video shared on the couple’s Instagram posts, in which Barker did a drum roll seconds before blue confetti spewed out to reveal that they were expecting a baby.

On Thursday night, Barker posted photos of a community prayer room on his verified Instagram story.
