Additional dates in Frankfurt, Nuremberg and Lingen

Billy Idol had to postpone his 2022 summer tour to the fall. The new dates will now take place between September 23, 2022 and October 11, 2022. Due to the great response, several additional concerts were scheduled.

Postponing his concerts, Billy Idol made the following statement: “As many of you know, this year has presented me with some health challenges that are still not fully resolved. Although my recovery is almost complete, doctors have strongly advised me not to tour until the end of August. With great frustration, we therefore had to postpone the German Billy Idol dates to September/October. Thank you for your understanding and your support. The shows will be worth waiting for!”

Alternative dates were found for Halle/Saale (September 23rd), Munich (October 3rd) and Hamburg (October 6th) at the original locations. Tickets purchased in advance remain valid. In Berlin, the concert was moved from the Zitadelle in the Mercedes-Benz Arena (October 5), where the original tickets are now valid for the interior. More tickets are available here. Substitute for the concert on Bonn’s artificial turf is the Düsseldorf Mitsubishi Electric Hall (October 11), where the original tickets are valid and additional tickets are available.

Frankfurt (September 29th), Nuremberg (September 30th) and Lingen (October 8th) are new in the tour calendar. In contrast, no alternative could be found for the Wiesbaden open-air concert. Tickets can be refunded at the respective advance booking offices.

Billy Idol, the world’s favorite rebel, is embarking on The Roadside Tour 2022 with new music and a stack of timeless classics. Billy’s touring band consists of his longtime guitarist and co-writer Steve Stevens, as well as Stephen McGrath (bass, backing vocals), Billy Morrison (guitar, backing vocals), Paul Trudeau (keyboards, backing vocals) and drummer Erik Eldenius.

Billy Idol is looking forward to his return. “I can’t wait to get back out there and enjoy that excitement and energy in front of a live audience.”
