The Harz region is gearing up for a vibrant summer season with the reopening of its two unique open-air theaters: the grand Harzer bergtheater in Thale and the more intimate Waldbühne Altenbrak. After a five-year hiatus for extensive expansion and modernization, the Harzer Bergtheater, boasting an impressive 1,903 seats, is set to reopen on May 31st. This natural stage will present performances such as Laroranja – the secret of the sky disk,alongside family favorites like Till Eulenspiegel and The Jungle Book. A highlight of the season will be the 73rd Harz Yodel Competition, featuring the popular Wildecker Herzbuben.
