It was restless on Thursday afternoon in Safaripark de Beekse Bergen in Hilvarenbeek and that was not due to an escaped lion or an angry elephant. Pupils from two different schools have fighted each other in the park. The police arrived to appease things.
The police received a report of a fight between a group of 140 students against another group of 190 students. “And possibly knives would have been seen,” the police of Tilburg writes on Instagram. Once in the animal park it turned out to be a handful of students.
The students fought each other, but nobody was injured. It is also not known how exactly the fight originated and who started. The police have asked one of the groups to leave the park. Then the peace soon returned to the park.
