“Once again, don’t rush to close an area, close a city, close a district, and if we work based on data, these intervention steps will run more effectively and can immediately solve problems in the field,” he said in Merdeka Palace Jakarta, Monday (14/9/2020). “Local-based intervention strategies, intervention strategies for local scale limitation are very important to do, be it intervention management at a local scale or on a community scale,” he said.
In fact, President Jokowi reminded him that decisions in responding to additional cases in provinces or districts or cities should be based on distribution data.
“I have told you many times, implementing local-based intervention strategies, local scale limitation strategies, be it at the RT, RW, at the village level, at the village level so that the handling is more detailed and can be more focused,” he added.
According to him, in one province there could be 20 districts / cities, not all of which are in the red zone, so that handling should not be generalized.
“In one city or district it is the same, not all urban villages, not all villages, not all sub-districts also experience the same thing, everything is red. Some are green, some are yellow. treatment and different treatment, “he added.
