Immediately after the “Tagesschau”, 3.59 million viewers (15.5 percent) saw the special broadcast on the first about the catastrophe in Lebanon from 8:15 pm.

The ARD “focal point” about the explosion in Beirut with more than 130 deaths was the prime-time program with the most viewers on Thursday evening.

The special broadcast on Das Erste was followed by 3.59 million viewers (15.5 percent) from 8.15 p.m., followed by the political satire “Der Hodscha und die Piepenkötter” to 3.59 million (15.5 percent).

The ZDF crime thriller “Under suspicion – classified information” with Senta Berger turned on 3.28 million people (13.6 percent). The RTL show “Rütter’s enough!” wanted to see 1.54 million (6.4 percent). ZDFneo had the thriller “Wilsberg: Death in the supermarket” in its program, 1.49 million (6.2 percent) were on the screen. The Sat.1 report series “112 Notruf Deutschland” watched 1.20 million (5.0 percent).

The RTLzwei show “Kampf der Realitystars” reached 1.03 million (4.4 percent), the US action series “9-1-1 Notruf LA” on ProSieben 980,000 (4.2 percent) and Kabel eins science fiction -Thriller “Inception” 700,000 (3.1 percent) viewers. 750,000 people (3.2 percent) spent the evening with the Vox mystery series “Oultlander”.
