He spent four years in College Station, balancing academics and athletics. “I felt like it was the best fit for me,” Rinderknech said.”I wasn’t the best in juniors… I wanted to keep playing tennis, not only go to school, and I could do both of them in the States, so that’s why I decided to go there. It was just a great experience and I kept improving.”

A business graduate from Texas A&M, he participated in the ATP Player Mentoring Program, gaining insights into the business world from Denise Melone, Managing Director at Havas. Tennis is a family affair for the Rinderknechs. His father, Pascal, manages a tennis club in Paris, and his mother, Virginie, was a professional player who won a match at Roland garros in 1986. He is also supported by his wife, Hortense Boscher, a former collegiate player at Texas A&M University. They married earlier this year in France.
