According to a report by foreign media GameSpot, Embark Studios, the developer of the shooting game “Arc Raiders“, is giving a special gift to all players to celebrate the holiday. Players who log in to the game now can receive 1,000 “Raider Tokens” for free until January 13th.
Players will see a “Happy Holidays” message after entering the game, informing them that they can claim this free gift. The message reads: “The Arc Raiders team and Embark Studios would like to thank you for being a valued member of our community. We hope you have a happy holiday season and enjoy this little gift from us!”
1,000 Raider Tokens are worth approximately less than US$10 (approximately NT$310). Players can use these tokens to purchase various in-game items, such as Raider decks, packs, and a variety of cosmetic items, including backpacks, trinkets, and emotes.
“Arc Raiders” has been a huge success since its release in late October, regularly ranking on the top game charts on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S platforms. According to reports, the game has sold nearly 7 million units.
The game’s recent “Cold Snap” update brought winter elements such as snow, ice hockey and more to the game world. While Arc Raiders received generally positive reviews, not all responses were full of praise, with the game’s use of an AI text-to-speech system drawing criticism from some players.
