As its launch in november 2019, AppleTV+ has expanded its original content library with series like Ted Lasso, The Studio, and Severance, along with popular shows like the Morning Show. It has also incorporated sports content, featuring MLB and MLS games.
Initially, AppleTV+ was priced at $4.99 per month, but the subscription cost has gradually increased as its content library has grown and become more expensive to maintain.
While apple has not released specific subscription numbers for AppleTV+, the company reported during its latest earnings call that overall viewership of the streaming service experienced “strong double digits year over year” growth.
