Every month, Netflix renews its catalog of series and movies on its streaming platform. In August, we will have the possibility to see new seasons of our favorite series, new original movies and some productions of other services that have been acquired by Netflix.

There will be something for everyone, from dramatic fictions, comedies and even movies, documentaries and children. So in Spoiler We present you the complete list of productions that will hit the Netflix Latin America screen in August 2020.




SERIES

THE RAIN – TEMPORADA 3

Again we will see Simone and Rasmus trying to save humanity. However, they both have very different ideas of how to do it. The third installment of The Rain will be the last season of the series.

ALTA MAR – SEASON 3

Sisters Eva and Carolina Villanueva will have a new mission within the Barbara de Braganza. This time the ship travels from Buenos Aires to Mexico and an English spy asks Eva for help finding a passenger who is carrying a deadly virus.

Netflix has canceled the production of the fourth season that it had announced, so this will be the last installment.

Premiere: August 7




LUCIFER – SEASON 5 – PART 1

In this installment we will see Tom Ellis again in the role of Lucifer on his return to hell. On the other hand, Chloe and Ella will have a new stage of their lives when it comes to love, and Amenadiel will live her new stage as a father. The fifth season will consist of two parts of 8 episodes.

COBRA KAI – SEASONS 1 AND 2

A spin-off sequel to the movie classic “Karate Kid”. The original YouTube series tells the story of Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka), thirty years after he lost in the final of the All Valley Karate tournament. His life is derailed and almost in ruin, but everything can change when he meets Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) again.

New interactive Netflix movie. Users can choose the fate of the protagonist in a new film in which each decision modifies the plot of it. The sequel to the hit series “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” will star Ellie Kemper and Daniel Radcliffe.

POWER PROJECT

New original Netflix movie starring Jaime Foxx and Joseph Gordon Levitt. It tells the story of a policeman who teams up with a former soldier and a teenage drug dealer to stop a gang of drug traffickers who invented a pill that gives superpowers to whoever takes it for 5 minutes.

WORK IT: AT THE RHYTHM OF DREAMS

Sabrina Carpenter plays Quinn Ackerman, a young woman who is willing to do anything to fulfill her dream of going to Duke, even if she has to learn to dance like a pro.
