Illana Bary flies for the Miss France election. The 19-year-old, from Aigues-Mortes, was elected on August 1, 2020 Miss Languedoc-Roussillon, in Beaucaire, against 13 other candidates. A new success for this rowing enthusiast who had already been elected Miss Beaucaire on June 13, 2020. She replaces Lucie Caussanel, who already carried the title of Miss Languedoc 2019. Her runners-up are Noémie Besson and Alice Martineau. After obtaining an economics and social baccalaureate, Illana Bary continued her studies in the first year of a management license. However, she told the Free Midi that she has considered reorienting herself in BTS operational commercial management before changing her mind following her coronation. “I will resume my studies next year”, indicates Miss Languedoc-Roussillon.
For now, Illana Bary is savoring her new title before the big Miss France election, which will take place next December. The young woman, however, has not yet decided the cause she will defend on this occasion, “even if I am sensitive to the rights of access to education for children”, she still admits in the columns of the South Free. Illana Bary is the second regional Miss to be elected for the year 2020. Due to the health crisis, elections will take place throughout the year, until November, one month from the final deadline .
