Alicante, September 22, 2022. Alicante hosts this Saturday the first sustainable and local commerce market in the neighborhood of Campoamor and adjacent areas, under the slogan ‘Loving Alicante neighborhoods’, an initiative that was born with the aim of promoting and invigorating the sector of commerce and hospitality in this commercial area, and which will be developed next to Paseo de Campoamor.
The conference is organized in collaboration with the Department of Commerce of the City Council together with the Association of Merchants of Campoamor. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., citizens will be able to enjoy crafts, clothing and second-hand products and local products.
The Councilor for Commerce and Hospitality, Lidia López, invites you to come this Saturday and visit the Market, highlighting that “it represents a great opportunity for the vendors of the Campoamor and adjacent commercial area, who have organized themselves to reactivate sales and boost the shopping area”.
In addition, it has scheduled a series of complementary activities that will take place during the day, such as creative workshops, concerts and an open mic, among others. At 11 in the morning it will be the turn of the little ones with an event of Puppets, Recycle with Nuria and Stories.
The event also includes the organization of a “Kevinn & The Cats Rhythm” Concert, which will take place at 12:30 p.m., next to Paseo de Campoamor, on the ADDA esplanade.
The mayor Lidia López has valued the measure that will help revitalize purchases and facilitate them with which the City Council “supports and vindicates the importance of buying in our municipal markets and in traditional quality local commerce, encouraging activities in the neighborhoods with the aim of keeping it active, so that citizens can make their purchases there”.
