Singer Ainars Bumbieris spoke more openly than usual about his private life, including relationships and past experiences, in an interview with “Ieva” magazine.
The artist says that parting with his first love was one of the most painful moments in his life. This experience taught him an important lesson – it is not the fact of divorce itself that hurts the most, but how a person tries to earn the recognition and love of another.
Remembering earlier talks about a possible relationship with a man, Bumbieris explains that it was more than ten years ago – at a time when he was searching for his identity and the image of an artist. Some of the public activities of that time, in his opinion, seem naive today, but they helped him understand himself.
When asked if he could fall in love with a man, the singer stated that he believes that the soul has no gender. According to him, people fall in love with the personality, talent and energy that the other person radiates.
Currently, the artist is free because he believes that relationships require a lot of responsibility and time, and at the moment he wants to devote his energy to other things.
