The Official Journal of the Generalitat of Catalonia (DOGC) published, on July 27, the Resolution that calls for aid for the execution of animal health programs in the pig sector, rabbit farming, beekeeping production and programs for tuberculosis and agalactia in sheep and goats.

The objective One of these subsidies is to encourage livestock health defense groups to carry out health programs aimed at preventing certain diseases in the pig, rabbit, sheep, goat and beekeeping sectors.

The aid provided for in the Resolution has a total amount of 647,000.00 euros. This budget is distributed by species as follows: 390,000.00 euros for the pig sector; 200,000.00 euros for the rabbit sector; €52,000.00 for the sheep and goat sector (€40,000 in the health program for the classification of dairy goat farms as officially free of tuberculosis, €12,000 in the national surveillance, control and eradication program for contagious agalactia) and €5,000 for the beekeeping production sector.

The amount of this call can be extended according to budget availability, charged to the budgets of the Department of Climate Action, Food and Rural Agenda for the year 2022. The application of this extension is conditioned to the effective availability of the credit at the time prior to the resolution. grant award.
