Between 5 and 12 December, in order not to miss anything, he collected five shots or attempts, ranging between the Brenner, Pavia, Treviglio and the last Roman of Lombardy. In Pavia he had been arrested and had bargained and then had been released from prison. Now a 26-year-old Moroccan, EHS homeless, is back in prison, in via Gleno, in Bergamo, for a theft committed in a villa in Vicolo Confalonieri, in Romano di Lombardia, in the Bassa. It happened on the night between Tuesday and Wednesday. It is night when the thief takes action. In the house the owners, husband and wife, aged 65 and 66, are sleeping peacefully. They don’t notice anything. The criminal is shrewd: to make his way through the house he forces a French window. Once inside, he starts looking around for stolen goods. He puts everything in his backpack: bottles of beer, men’s shoes (he wears a pair), grabs a women’s quilt and, in order not to miss anything, even a women’s Cartier watch worth 5 thousand euros. In short, the hunt went well. But it didn’t end well for him. Because his presence was felt from a distance, by the daughter of the couple who lives next door. Or rather, the young woman’s dog must have heard noises, and wakes up the mistress. The latter from the video surveillance cameras glimpses a figure in the garden of her parents’ house and warns her own. The father rushes into the garden and sees the criminal, his wife follows him and in the meantime a security guard arrives who is carrying out his surveillance service. The carabinieri of the nearby Romano di Lombardia station are alerted.

Meanwhile, the thief tries to free himself from the hold of the landlord and the guard. A useless attempt, because soon a patrol arrives, and the military blocks him and takes him to the barracks. The stolen goods are returned to their legitimate owners. The Moroccan is tried with a direct rite for theft and resistance. Assisted by the lawyer Sara Gelmi, he tells his story of desperate homelessness. The Longobardi judge validates the arrest, while the defender asks for the terms in defense. The trial was updated on January 26th. FD
