The other day, on a Facebook page entitled “Unique Cars For Sale in Europe”, an announcement was posted by which a Romanian citizen put his car up for sale, a Dacia Logan. Sale price? 11,000 euros!
Do not think that it is a copy of the new generation of the sedan produced by the Romanian manufacturer, but about the facelift version of the first generation, but tuned. The price has the gift to surprise in the first phase, but after you see what changes the car has undergone, you will not consider it so peppery.
Volkswagen turbo engine of 457 hp and 528 Nm!
The owner is obviously a big fan of cars, named Valentin Georgian. According to Piataauto.md, who spoke to the owner, this Logan was subjected to a long and complex transformation process that mainly targeted the powertrain.
The car hides under the hood a 1.8-liter Volkswagen turbo engine, which develops a maximum power of 457 hp and no less than 528 Nm of torque, available at 5,800 rpm! Power is delivered to all four wheels via an AWD all-wheel drive system.
To cope with these crazy resources for a car like Dacia Logan, the owner had to mount a new gearbox, a new turbine, “shod” the 16-inch Autec wheels with Toyo tires and changed the original brakes with some now bearing the Alfa Romeo logo.
At the same time, the owner of the car also made some changes to the interior. He installed an engine start system with some “racing” type switches, changed the instrument cluster and replaced the standard steering wheel with a sports one.
These changes mean that, at the moment, this Logan is probably unique in Romania, especially in terms of the performance it offers.
We don’t know if it was an escape or not, but interesting is the fact that, in the sale announcement, the car appears with license plates, which means that it can drive on any public road.
