The discount carrier Flair Airlines will serve Montreal from the 1is July with direct flights to Toronto, Halifax, Vancouver and Abbotsford in British Columbia.
The Edmonton company specializes in domestic flights.
“We are delighted to bring very low cost service to Montreal and to offer our great rates in an area where Canadians have been paying far too much for far too long,” said Stephen Jones, President and CEO of the air carrier, by press release, Tuesday.
“Providing affordable air travel in Canada is an essential first step in reviving the travel and tourism industry. We know there is a need for very low cost service in Montreal, ”he added.
Flair Airlines will offer daily flights between Montreal and Toronto in July, six days a week with Vancouver, four days a week with Halifax and three days with Abbotsford.
She says her one-way fares on many of Montreal’s new routes are as low as $ 49, including taxes and fees.
The carrier also says it offers COVID-19 coverage that “allows passengers to easily change their travel plans given the continued uncertainty caused by the pandemic.”
