More than 100 members of interdisciplinary health teams participated in virtual training on digital environments in which the impact of technology on physical and emotional well -being of both childhood and adolescences was analyzed. There it coincided with the importance of digital education.
The Ministry of Health of Entre Ríos, through the Maternal Directorate Infant Juvenile dependent on the General Directorate of Obstetric and Neonatal Conditions (CONE), managed a virtual training on digital well -being focused especially on situations and experiences that go through both childhoods and adolescents.
The day was in charge of Milagros Schroder and Julia D¿amore Bajos, both members of Faro Digital, an organization that has been working since 2015 in the exploration, analysis and promotion of citizenship in the digital territories. During the workshop, professionals contextualized the advance of technology based on a historical tour, mentioning the different tools and platforms used to the modalities of vulnerability of law currently existing such as cyberbullying or grooming, among other medullary aspects.
On the occasion, the Director of Maternal Health Infanta Youth, Georgina López, considered: “It is vital to carry out training instances that allow to bring updates to health teams on aspects that affect the growth and development of both childhood and adolescents, thinking of them as subjects of law over which we have responsibility”; And he added that, at the Early Childhood table that our province has, “we are working on the elaboration of protocols linked to the use and impact of technologies.”
Throughout the workshop, it arose that it should not be aimed at “technophybic looks” with a negative connotation, but, on the contrary, to promote healthy digital practices oriented to the following aspects:
-Ducar about digital rights (consent in digital practices).
-Promover critical thinking and active use of technology.
-Poomar the construction of a healthy digital identity.
-Promover and address digital violence.
-Cove mental health in the digital era.
-Promote the care of the other in digital environments.
-Fortalt the co -responsibility in digital care.
It should be noted that the meeting concluded that it is vital to “build citizenship and digital care” from the interdisciplinary and inter -institutional approach thinking that “care is a first right and the greatest responsibility” existing in health teams.
