The two citizens of El Salvador sentenced for sexual violence on minors and mistreatment in the family by the Court of Novara were reached abroad and arrested.
These are Maria Luisa Alfano Palacios, 48 years old who has to serve a 7 -year sentence and 8 months for sexual violence mistreatment in the family and aggravated personal injuries, and Josè Reyes Leon Deras, 38 years old who must serve 9 years of imprisonment for sexual violence on minor.
The woman was arrested in El Salvador, while the man was tracked down in the United States, in Colorado. The two are accused of having segregated and raped the woman’s grandson, at the time 14 years old, who had been entrusted to her by the mother who was in El Salvador.
The facts date back to July 2016 and occurred in Trecate: the young woman, who lived almost in a state of slavery, was mistreated daily by aunt, the 48 -year -old, and raped by the 38 -year -old, then the woman’s companion. The nightmare in which the 14 -year -old lived was finished when the young woman had managed to escape by throwing herself from the window of the aunt’s home and taking refuge at the home of the woman’s sister, who the next day denounced everything to the carabinieri.
