Allegations of Tipping and Undisclosed Mediation

Prosecutors allege that the broker’s husband acted as a “tipper” and mediator, facilitating the sale of the Traunsee property below its market value. He is accused of ensuring the property was not offered to other potential buyers, effectively limiting competition and enabling the fraudulent transaction. Moreover,he allegedly pocketed a portion of the commission that should have gone to his wife’s employer.

The real estate agent acted as a confidante to the elderly woman, while two property developers sought to acquire the land, and lawyers were involved in drafting the contract.
