Year 20, this is only the second time in my career that game 82 games. And also playing as long as I have done, I think I know how challenging it is. That’s why I have so much respect for Harrison, who is doing this for the third consecutive year. And Mikal, who was my teammate, never lost a game.

Mikal Bridges’ streak of consecutive games played is notably noteworthy. As of Sunday, he had played in his 556th consecutive regular-season game. His last missed game was in his third year of high school. This includes 116 games at Villanova and 39 NBA playoff games. In total,he has played in 711 consecutive games as entering college.

Even with the knicks resting key players for a game with minimal playoff implications, Bridges insisted on maintaining his streak. He played the first six seconds of the game, committed a foul, and was then substituted, preserving his remarkable record.
