97.5% of graduates in Chelny want to get higher education – Realnoe Vremya

97.5% of 11th grade graduates plan to study at universities. 12 people want to go to college, nine people will go to the army, another 26 have not decided on their choice, Deputy Head of the Executive Committee Ramil Khalimov said at a staff meeting.

69% of graduates choose educational institutions of other cities or regions: 38% choose universities in Tatarstan (Kazan, Elabuga, Almetyevsk), 31% of graduates want to study at Russian universities, writes chelny.biz.

According to Halimov, the number of people coming to study in Naberezhnye Chelny exceeds the number of those leaving.

In Tatarstan this year 16.5 thousand eleventh graders are taking the Unified State Exam, and 36 532 9th grade graduates are taking the OGE.
